PROJECT 1 (NCN/SONATA BIS, 2022/46/E/NZ1/00462). “Dynamics of RNA degrading complexes in bacteria”: we study how bacterial sRNA-mRNA pairing, RNA degradation, and translation regulate gene expression using single-molecule TIRF microscopy and biochemical approaches.

  1. POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER: apply before January 18th, 2026
  2. PhD student - project 9.6 Dynamics of RNA-degrading complexes in bacteria: apply from December 18th, 2025, to January 6th, 2026

PROJECT 2 (NCN/OPUS, 2025/57/B/NZ1/03589). “RNA biology at the phage-bacteria interface”: we investigate how RNA-binding proteins control phage-host interactions in A. baumannii using transcriptomics, biochemistry, and single-molecule biophysics.

  1. POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER: apply before January 5th, 2026
  2. 2 PhD students - project 9.5 RNA biology at the phage-bacteria interface: apply from December 18th, 2025, to January 6th, 2026

PROJECT 3 (hop-on facility of the HORIZON-WIDERA programme under the EIC pathfinder) “Optimizing molecular tools for VirHo-Seq with smTIRF and Ribo-Seq”: we develop single-molecule TIRF microscopy assays to validate engineered enzymes for VirHo-seq, a method for linking viruses/phages to their hosts across all life domains.

  1. POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER: apply before January 11th, 2026
